RICHARDSON, Texas –– Ozarks sophomore forward Blake Mitchem was named to D3hoops.com's national Team of the Week for games played between November 30-December 6. Mitchem id the first player from the ASC – men or women – to land on the national honor roll this season.

Mitchem put on a pair of dominating performances in two road wins, averaging 22.5 points and 12.0 rebounds while shooting 90 percent from the free throw line. Mitchem pumped in 19 points, including a key basket with 7 seconds left, to preserve a win against Howard Payne. In that game, he also grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked 2 shots. He followed that performance with a 26-point, 11-rebound effort in a win against Sul Ross State.
