McMurry University's run at a repeat men's track and field Division III national championship is featured in the latest edition of CBS Sports Presents Championships of the NCAA. Originally broadcast July 4, an encore presentation of the spring 2009 special is scheduled Sunday, July 19 at 5:30 p.m. (CT).
Head coach Barbara Crousen and American Southwest Conference Male Athlete of the Year Hann Ollison are each interviewed during the men's track and field segment. Highlights of McMurry's final day charge for the team title are included in the segment. Ollison repeated as the 400-meter champion and placed second in the 200-meter dash as the team finished runner-up to Wisconsin Oshkosh by six points.
ASC student-athletes participated in the finals of the Division III golf, softball and track and field championships. Chris Gage, director of athletics at Texas-Dallas, chaired the men's golf national committee and is seen during the men's golf segment.
Highlights from the Division III baseball, golf, softball, tennis, track and field, and rowing championships are included in the one-hour presentation. Select Division I and II championships are also included in the program.

CBS Sports’ Seth Davis hosts the spring 2009 edition of CBS Sports Presents Championships of the NCAA. For the fifth consecutive year, the spring program was produced by Deb Boulac. Jonathan Segal, Kimani Morales, Julie Landa and John Paquet served as feature producers. The spring 2009 show will be broadcast entirely in High Definition.
This is the seventh consecutive year that all 88 NCAA championships will receive television exposure. For the 2008-09 academic year, CBS Sports will feature half (44) of the 88 NCAA championships over its three seasonal shows. The show focuses on the aspirations of several NCAA student-athletes pursuing their individual and team paths to various national championships.
