Concordia Texas sophomore midfielder Mohamed Diallo (Dakar, Senegal) had three goals over a 1-0-1 week, including both scores in the Tornados’ 2-1 overtime win against Louisiana College. Diallo, who takes the division’s top weekly offensive award for the second time this season, tallied the equalizing goal in a 2-2 tie with Mississippi College. He became the program’s all-time points leader in his first year with 26.
DEFENSIVE
Isaiah Minick, D, Fr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman defender Isaiah Minick (Chaing Mai, Thailand / Grace International) spearheaded a unit that produced a pair of shutouts on the road against Schreiner and Texas Lutheran. Minick, whose group has allowed only two goals over its last six matches, added a goal in the win over Schreiner.

MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: The Choctaws qualified for their sixth consecutive ASC Tournament prior to the final road weekend of the season. MC earned two draws after leading in both matches against Concordia Texas and Texas-Tyler. Freshman Brian Vasquez scored his 12th goal of the season in the draw against Texas-Tyler and now leads the league with 35 points. The Choctaws will open the ASC Tournament on Friday when they face Mary Hardin-Baylor at 11:00 a.m.
MARY HARDIN-BAYLOR: The UMHB men closed out the regular season with a 2-0 road trip to Schreiner and Texas Lutheran. The two wins clinched an ASC Tournament berth for the Cru and helped UMHB claim the #4 seed in the ASC Tournament.
TEXAS-DALLAS: The Comets closed ASC play Tuesday with a 3-0 home win over Ozarks to clinch the No. 3 seed at the ASC Tournament. The shutout was the 10th of the season, tying the third-highest total in program history. UTD's team goals against average is now 0.39, leading the league by nearly half a goal per 90 minutes.
CONCORDIA TEXAS: Concordia completed its best season in school history by posting an undefeated 1-0-1 record this week ... The Tornados rallied to salvage a 2-2 tie with second-place Mississippi College before ending the week with a 2-1 overtime victory over Louisiana College ... Newcomer Mohamed Diallo scored three of the four goals, including both against Louisiana College, and became the program's all-time leading scorer with 26 career points on the golden goal he netted in the 99th minute ... He also tied the school record for career goals (11) on the play ... Concordia, which had never won more than five matches overall or three in conference play in a season, finished with 2011 campaign with six overall victories and six wins in conference play ... Both marks are school records.
OZARKS: The Eagles lose seven seniors from the 2011 team, six of which were full-time starters. That class includes co-captain and All-Region candidate Logan Hornback, who is regarded as one of the top defenders to come through the program. Seniors Guido Salas, Tony Santoro and Neil Thompson are in the record books for offensive and defensive statistics, respectively. Senior teammates Tanner Holman, Travis Murnan and Christian Ridings also made their mark on the program during their careers. Ozarks will return high-scoring forward Eloy Salgado next season, who led the team in goals (9), assists (6), points (24) and shots (54).
TEXAS LUTHERAN: The Bulldogs concluded the 2011 season with a 1-16 overall record and a 1-12 mark in the ASC...TLU scored just nine goals all season while allowing 56...Seniors Andrew Latiolais and Jide Olagbegi played their final matches for the Bulldogs.
LETOURENAU: The YellowJackets qualified for the postseason American Southwest Conference tournament for the first time since 2005 ... This will be LeTourneau's fourth trip to ASC Tournament; the Jackets had previously qualified in 1998, 1999 and 2005 ... The 2011 ASC Tournament will be the first for the YellowJackets outside of Abilene.
HARDIN-SIMMONS: HSU won 10 of its final 11 ASC games to earn the second seed in the ASC Tournament and a first round bye. HSU will be looking for its ASC-best eighth league title this weekend. Matt Pitcock has scored a goal in four straight games for the Cowboys.
