TEAM NOTES

(Submitted by conference Sports Information Directors)

MARY HARDIN-BAYLOR: The Cru ended the regular season at 10-5-1 overall and 8-3-1 in conference play after falling 1-0 to Hardin-Simmons on Friday and 1-0 to Howard Payne on Saturday. UMHB will enter their fourth consecutive ASC tournament this week, as the No. 4 seed, and take on No. 5 Schreiner in the first round.

TEXAS-DALLAS: The Comets locked up the No. 2 seed for this weekend's ASC Tournament with a 1-1 mark in the final week of the regular season. UTD recorded its 13th season of 10 wins or more in the program's 15-year history, posting an 11-5 regular season mark this year. The Comets will be vying for their third-ever ASC title and first since 2007...UTD received a first-round bye and will face the UT-Tyler/Schreiner winner at 2 p.m. Friday in the semifinals...Junior forward Michael Darrow tied a school record with his 18th tally of the season Thursday night against Louisiana College. With two goals against the Wildcats, Darrow became the third UTD player to record 18 goals in a season, matching Ali Morshedi (2004) and Kevin White (2007). Coincidentally, each season that UTD has had an 18-goal scorer, the Comets have won the ASC Championship.

TEXAS LUTHERAN: The Bulldogs dropped five of six matches to close the year with an overall record of 6-8-2 and a conference mark of 4-6-2...The 2012 men's soccer season is TLU's last in the ASC. The Bulldogs move to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference for the 2013-14 athletics seasons...TLU seniors Andrew Lozano, Edgar Infante and Christian Rodriguez finished their careers with the Bulldogs.

TEXAS-TYLER: The Patriots wrapped up a third-place finish in the ASC regular season standings with wins over Schreiner and Texas Lutheran.

LETOURNEAU: LeTourneau competed in their final games of the weekend against Schreiner and Texas Lutheran.

CONCORDIA TEXAS: Concordia wrapped up its season with a 4-12-1 ledger overall and a 3-9 mark in conference play after defeating Howard Payne, 3-1, and dropping a 2-1 decision to Hardin-Simmons in double overtime ... Sebastian Parra scored a goal against Howard Payne and ended his career as the program's all-time leader for matches played ... Pep Rangel contributed the game-winning goal and an assist in the win over the Yellow Jackets, while Alec Kemnitz netted his first career goal on his Senior Night against Hardin-Simmons ... Concordia is slated to return 24 letterwinners, including nine starters and 2011 All-American Southwest Conference First Team selection Mohamed Diallo, next season.

HARDIN-SIMMONS: The Cowboys went 6-0-1 over their last seven games to advance to its 10th straight ASC Tournament. HSU won a pair of games in double overtime on the road on the final weekend. HSU has won the most ASC titles in league history with seven.

OZARKS: Ozarks will look to rebuild after a disappointing season in 2012. Ozarks will return ten of its eleven starters, including a solid freshmen class that made major contributions. Additionally, Ozarks will get back one of the most dynamic scorers in the conference in forward Eloy Salgado after he suffered an injury early in the year. A pair of freshmen scored for Ozarks in its 2-1 win over Louisiana College Saturday. Dylan Amacher scored on a header and Dagin Douglas recorded the game-winner in the 41st minute.

MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: The Mississippi College men's soccer clinched the number one seed in the ASC Tournament with wins over the Ozarks and UTD. This will be the first time in school history that MC will host the tournament at Longabaugh Field. Junior Harrison Russell spearheaded the victories with two goals in the 5-0 win over the Ozarks and the game-winner in the 1-0 victory over UTD. The Choctaws earn a first round bye and will play on Friday.
