RICHARDSON, Texas – The University of
Texas at Dallas
posted a 11-0 record against league opponents to win the East Division title and the right to host the 2015 ASC Volleyball Championship Tournament, November 5-7, at the UTD Activity Center in Richardson, Texas.
The bracket for the six-team double-elimination ASC Championship was announced Tuesday (Oct. 27) following completion of conference play.
Texas Dallas
(11-0) finished the season undefeated to claim the top spot in the East Division. The Comets 12 consecutive tournament appearances is the longest active streak in the ASC. UTD will play the winner of game two between West No. 2 seed
Concordia Texas
(7-5) East No. 3 seed
Texas-Tyler
(6-5). Concordia Texas and Texas-Tyler each make its third consecutive tournament appearance.
Mary Hardin-Baylor
(10-2), the defending ASC Champion, won the West Division title joining UTD as the only teams to win 10 or more wins against conference opponents. UMHB makes its fifth straight tournament appearance. The Cru will play the winner of game one between East No. 2 seed
East Texas Baptist
(8-3) and West No. 3 seed
Hardin-Simmons
(5-7). ETBU leads the ASC with 14 tournament appearances. HSU leads the ASC with five championship crowns and makes its 11th consecutive tournament appearance.
The 2015 ASC Volleyball Championship Tournament is the 18th postseason event dating back to 1998. The ASC tournament winner earns an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Championship.

: Admission: $8 for adults, $5 for students, children age 5 and under admitted free … This is the fourth time Texas Dallas will serve as host of the ASC Volleyball Tournament … The ASC Tournament began in 1998.
