RICHARDSON, Texas - Ninety-four student-athletes have been recognized by the American Southwest Conference as members of 2017 Winter-Spring Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Teams.
The ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team recognizes student-athletes who attain a high level of academic achievement while competing as a starter or important reserve on his or her athletic team. From that list - limited to one nominee per institution in each ASC championship sport - the conference sports information directors select the
Distinguished Scholar-Athlete within each sport.
