RICHARDSON, Texas –
UT Dallas
posted a 9-1-1 record in league play to win the regular season title, No. 1 seeding and the right to host the semifinals and finals of the 2018 American Southwest Conference Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament which begins Tuesday, October 30.
The bracket for the eight-team single-elimination ASC championship tournament was announced Saturday following completion of conference play.
The 2018 ASC Championship is an eight-team field with the top four seeds - No. 1
UT Dallas
, No. 2
Mary Hardin-Baylor
, No. 3
Concordia Texas
and No. 4
East Texas Baptist
- hosting quarterfinal matches on Tuesday, October 30. The quarterfinal winners advance to the semifinals hosted by UT Dallas in Richardson, Texas on Friday, November 2. The conference championship match is scheduled Sunday, November 4.
The top-seeded Comets (11-2-2, 9-1-1 ASC) are making their 18th straight appearance and ninth in a row in the ASC Championship. They will host No. 8
Hardin-Simmons
(4-10-2, 4-6-2 ASC), who are making its league-leading 20th trip to the tournament.
Mary Hardin-Baylor (12-3-1, 8-2-1 ASC), making its 12th appearance in fifth in a row, will take on No. 7
McMurry
(6-7-4, 4-5-2 ASC) who is joining the tournament field for the fifth time and first since 2004.
Concordia Texas (9-5-1, 8-3 ASC), reaching the tournament for the fourth straight year, takes on No. 6
LeTourneau
(6-8-2, 5-5-1 ASC), who will also be making its fifth appearance in the field and first since 2011.
The final quarterfinal matchup will see East Texas Baptist (9-5-2, 6-3-2 ASC) hosting No. 5
Ozarks
(8-7-3, 6-4-1 ASC). The Tigers will be making their third-ever trip to the championship, while the Eagles are advancing for the 16th time overall and sixth year in a row.
The 2017 ASC Men’s Championship Soccer Tournament is the 21st in league history. The winner of the ASC Championship Tournament is declared the conference champion and earns automatic qualification to the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship.

No pets
are permitted at ASC championship events except for certified service animals that are properly trained, marked, and leashed.
Admission:
At UT Dallas for quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be $10 for adults and $5 for students. All other quarterfinal sites will be free.
