ASC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Team Sportsmanship Award
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee of the ASC instituted a Team Sportsmanship Award during the 2007-08 year. The ASC Team Sportsmanship Award is presented in each Conference championship sport to the member institution who best displays positive qualities of sportsmanship and fair play from its student-athletes, coaches and fans throughout the season. The award is presented at the conclusion of each championship sport season.
The SAAC at each member institution nominates institutions by sport for the award and may not vote for its own school. The member receiving the most nominations will be declared the Team Sportsmanship Award recipient in the sport. The award will be presented on the Division level in baseball, basketball, softball, tennis and volleyball, and a single award presented in cross country, football, golf, soccer and track and field.
