Texas-Tyler senior John Dukes (Rockwall, Texas / Ranger JC) fired a 2-over-par 72-72—144 to finish as the individual runner-up at the Al Jones Memorial Invitational at The Cascades Golf Club in Tyler, Texas. Dukes, who fell short in a scorecard playoff for medalist honors with Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Robby Schimmels, also helped the Patriots to an 18-stroke team title in their home event. He had two of the eight rounds of 72 or below in the field of 62 golfers.
