Texas Lutheran freshman forward Veronica Zapata (San Antonio, Texas / Burbank HS) scored two goals over a 2-0 week and they were both game-winners. Zapata fueled a 2-0 win over conference opponent Schreiner and then scored the game’s only goal against non-conference team Houston-Victoria. Her play helped the Bulldogs snap a three-game losing streak.
