Hardin-Simmons junior middle blocker Tori Martinez (Harlingen, Texas / HHS) totaled 19 blocks over conference victories over Howard Payne, Sul Ross State and Schreiner. Martinez, who helped the Cowgirls limit opponents to a combined .080 hitting percentage, also added 11 kills and one assist. Her play also helped HSU clinch the West Division title and the right to host the ASC tournament at Mabee Complex in Abilene, Texas.
