Texas-Dallas senior middle blocker Halea Williams (San Marcos, Texas / SMHS) had 16 blocks to fuel a three-win week that secured the Comets’ seventh straight ASC East Division title. Williams also added 26 kills, two digs and one assist against Austin College, Mississippi College and East Texas Baptist. In a 3-1 win over ETBU that clinched the crown, she tied a program record with four solo blocks. Williams has now won the league’s top weekly offensive and defensive award this season.
