Hardin-Simmons junior outside hitter Christine Sas (Cedar Park, Texas / Vista Ridge HS) averaged 5.21 digs per set to go along with five blocks and 42 kills to guide a 4-0 showing at the Southwestern Tournament that concluded the Cowgirls’ regular season on a 22-match win streak. Sas also added eight service aces and four assists. She has been named the division’s player of the week three times this since – twice on offense and once of defense.
