Concordia Texas sophomore guard Madi Hess (Cedar Park, Texas / CPHS) did not miss a shot from the field over conference wins against Mary Hardin-Baylor and Hardin-Simmons and helped the Tornados extend their winning streak to a season-best five games. Hess was 7-for-7 on field goals – including going 2-for-2 on 3-point attempts. The only time she missed was on two of her nine free throws. Hess scored a career-high 17 points –12 in the second half – and had four steals to fuel a 79-74 road victory over UMHB. She added a combined six rebounds, five steals and two assists despite averaging just 18.5 minutes per game.
