Texas Lutheran junior Vanecia Spencer (Grandview, Texas / GHS) won the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.53 at the Trinity Open in San Antonio, Texas. She was the only athlete to break the 58-second barrier. Spencer also ran a leg on the winning 4x400 relay team that sported a mark of 4:02.26.
