Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman Brady Purdom (Friendswood, Texas / FHS) fired a 10-over-par card of 76-78—154 to finish as the individual runner-up at the Mississippi College Invitational at Black Bear Golf Course in Delhi, La. Purdom was just one stroke behind NCAA Division II golfer Cameron Thomas of Delta State. Purdom’s opening round 76 was tied for the lowest round of the day. His play also led the Cru to a third-place team finish.
