Texas Lutheran junior Chance Cathey (Gatesville, Texas / GHS) fired a 1-under-par 70-73—143 to win the individual title at the TLU Intercollegiate Invite at Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco, Texas. Cathey won medalist honors at his home tournament by six strokes. His opening-round 70 was the lowest round of the event. His play also helped the Bulldogs to a runner-up team finish.
