East Texas Baptist junior first baseman Lacy Liles (Elysian Fields, Texas / EFHS) went 4-for-10 with a home run, a triple, a double and four RBIs to fuel a 3-1 week, including a split with No. 3-ranked Texas-Tyler. Liles also scored six runs, walked twice and did not strike out. In a 3-2 win over UT Tyler, Liles had an RBI single to give the No. 11-ranked Tigers a 1-0 lead and later tied the game 2-2 with a solo blast.
