Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore Victoria Thane (Stamford, Texas / SHS) carded a 79-76—155 to tie for sixth place individually at the Bluebonnet Classic at par-72 Tangle Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Hill, Texas. Thane, who takes the league’s top golfer award for the second straight week, was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the event that featured 76 golfers. She was one of only eight in the field that posted two rounds in the 70s. Her performance also helped the Lady Cru to a third place finish – also was tops for a Division III squad.
