Texas-Tyler freshman right-hander Kelsie Batten (Huntingdon, Texas / HHS) went 2-0 with a save in division play, allowing only one run over 16 2/3 innings in the process. Batten, who takes the division’s top weekly for the second straight week and third time this season, scattered seven hits and struck out eight batters. She issued only one walk. Batten had a win and a save on the same day against Louisiana College.
