Mississippi College senior Shane Brogdon (Birmingham, Ala. / Oak Mountain HS) won the 800-meters with a 1:51.75 at the MC Twighlight Invitational in Clinton, Miss. Brogdon, who takes the league’s top weekly athlete award for the second time this season, has now won the event in his last three meets. His latest time – which topped a field of 26 – ranks second this year in NCAA Division III. It was just two seconds off his personal best mark.
