East Texas Baptist freshman right-hander Kelly Jo McLendon (Livingston, Texas / LHS) went 2-0 in division play with two shutouts and did not issue a walk. McLendon scattered five hits – all singles – and struck out two batters over 11 innings of work. Her win over Louisiana College stopped a three-game skid for the Lady Tigers.
