RICHARDSON, Texas –– The LeTourneau University and Sul Ross State University men’s basketball teams, and the Louisiana College and Concordia University Texas women’s basketball teams are the winners of American Southwest Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Team Sportsmanship Awards for winter sports, the conference office announced on Wednesday (March 25).

The LeTourneau men and LC women represented the East Division, while the SRSU men and CTX women took honors in the West Division.

The award, in its second academic year, honors the member institution in each ASC championship sport that best displays positive qualities of sportsmanship and fair play from its student-athletes, coaches and fans throughout the season. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committees from the conference’s 15 member institutions vote on the recipients.

LC and LETU have now won the team sportsmanship award on both the men’s and women’s side.
