Co-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Mason Munoz, F, Jr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor junior forward Mason Munoz (Pflugerville, Texas) scored a trio of goals this week to help the Cru clinch the regular-season title. He netted the Cru's second goal against Hardin-Simmons on Thursday before scoring both of the Cru's goals in the 2-0 win over McMurry Saturday. Munoz
totaled three goals on four shots.
 
Co-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Emad Mohamed, MF, Sr., LeTourneau
LeTourneau senior midfielder Emad Mohamed (Irving, Texas) had the assist on the game-winning goal against Ozarks and then tallied a goal in a 1-1 draw with UT Dallas during a 1-0-1 week for the YellowJackets. He assisted Beau Weber's game-winning goal in the 89th minute in a 1-0 win over Ozarks. In a 1-1 draw with UT Dallas, Mohamed converted a penalty kick in the second half.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Hayden Owens, GK Fr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman goalkeeper Hayden Owens (Frisco, Texas) played two full 90-minute games on the road this week, earning two wins. He had seven saves at Hardin-Simmons and pitched a clean sheet with four saves at McMurry.
 
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Offensive
UT Dallas freshman forward Kawan Borba (Pflugerville, Texas) scored the game-winning goal,
his first of the season, in its 2-0 win at East Texas Baptist Thursday night. His goal came in the 61st minute.
 
Ozarks sophomore forward Rasto Rimbo (Fayetteville, Ark.) produced the game-winning goal against East Texas Baptist.
 
Howard Payne sophomore forward Ethan Mauldin (Weatherford, Texas) led the HPU offensive attack in a 2-2 tie versus Sul Ross State this past week. Mauldin totaled four shots with two on-frame scoring in the 52nd minute to give the Yellow Jackets a 2-0 lead.
 
Sul Ross State junior midfielder Cristobal Rodriguez (El Paso, Texas) scored his third goal of the season during the 88th minute to secure the 2-2 draw with Howard Payne and tied the team lead in goals.
 
Hardin-Simmons freshman midfielder Jerron Garcia (Midland, Texas) scored his first career goal for the Cowboys against Mary Hardin-Baylor. He also played all 180 minutes on the week.
 
Defensive
Concordia Texas junior goalkeeper Brock Hendrickson (Temecula, Calif.) was magnificent protecting the net last week. He led Concordia to two straight clean sheets (currently sitting at four this season). He and the Tornados conducted many defensive stops in a 2-0 win at McMurry; where they held the Warhawks to only one shot on goal and four corners. He then posted a four of saves with two corners defended in a 0-0 draw at Hardin-Simmons.
 
UT Dallas sophomore defender Josh Zemanski (Richardson, Texas) helped limit opponents to just two shots on goal as the Comets went 1-1-0-1 on the week. He played all 90 minutes in both games - a 2-0 win over East Texas Baptist and a 1-1 tie with LeTourneau.
 
Ozarks sophomore forward Caleb Anderson (Broken Arrow, Okla.) had three saves in a shutout win against East Texas Baptist University. Anderson totaled seven saves over two matches.
 
LeTourneau senior goalkeeper Raul Torrez (Longview, Texas) allowed just one goal in 180 minutes at the net on the week and made 10 saves in a 1-0-1 week for the YellowJackets. He notched his fifth shutout of the year and collected three saves in a 1-0 win over Ozarks. In a 1-1 draw with UT Dallas, Torrez faced 20 shots and made seven saves while allowing just one goal.
 
Hardin-Simmons senior defender Micah Curry (Frisco, Texas) helped lead the Cowboy shutout defensive effort against Concordia. He helped HSU limit Concordia to just two shots on goal
