OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Hannah Frasca, OH, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor senior outside hitter
Hannah Frasca (Spring, Texas) led the Cru in kills last weekend with 34 total. Her performance was highlighted Saturday with 15 total kills on a .556 hitting percentage with no errors. Frasca also added three service aces. Defensively, she recorded 44 digs, with double digits in each game while also adding four blocks. This is Frasca’s second ASC Player of the Week this season in consecutive weeks.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Mari Hernandez, L, Fr., UT Dallas
UT Dallas freshman libero
Mari Hernandez (Frisco, Texas) averaged 6.11 digs per set in the Comets' three ASC sweeps last week. She had 11 digs against LeTourneau at home Tuesday, followed by 25 at Hardin-Simmons on Friday and 19 at McMurry on Saturday. Hernandez also had 12 assists and five aces on the week.

Offensive
UT Dallas freshman middle blocker
Laura See (Grapevine, Texas) hit .373 with 3.00 kills and 1.00 blocks per set as the Comets went 3-0 in ASC play. She started the week with seven kills, two aces and three blocks in a sweep of LeTourneau at home Tuesday. See then hit .476 with 12 kills and two blocks at Hardin-Simmons and hit .500 with eight kills and four blocks at McMurry in UTD's third sweep of the week.
East Texas Baptist junior outside hitter
Avery Reid (Fulshear, Texas) averaged 3.29 kills per set in just seven sets played. She posted 19 kills in a four-set win over Hardin-Simmons with a .342 hitting percentage on Saturday with 10 digs for a double-double. She also had four service aces in that win. Overall, she had 23 kills on the weekend and a .286 hitting percentage.
Hardin-Simmons freshman middle blocker
Jadyn Hernandez (Abilene, Texas) led the Cowgirls with 37 kills. She also led the Cowgirls with 14 blocks with three of those being solo blocks.
Howard Payne freshman outside hitter
Makenize Weddel (The Woodlands, Texas) recorded nine aces this past week in three games including five in a win versus Concordia (TX). Weddel also recorded 25 kills, 33 digs, and one block.
Defensive
East Texas Baptist senior libero
Lillie Hill (Schertz, Texas) had a strong defensive weekend in West Texas with 44 total digs in seven sets played at 6.29 per set. She had 27 digs vs. McMurry in a 3-0 sweep and 17 digs vs. HSU in a 3-1 win. She also posted three serving aces and had 29 total receives with only 1 receiving error.
LeTourneau senior libero
Morgan Nix (Cypress, Texas) had 30 digs in three sets in a loss to UT Dallas, the team's only contest of the week. It was one shy of LeTourneau's record in a three-set
match, and marked the most digs in three sets by a UT Dallas opponent in Comet history. Nix leads the ASC and the nation in digs per set at 7.13.
Mary Hardin-Baylor senior defensive specialist/libero
Maddie Gillispie (Austin, Texas) was a key player for the Cru defensively this weekend. She was the starting libero in all nine sets. Gillispie totaled 35, reaching double-digits each match. She also added two service aces and 12 assists.
Hardin-Simmons junior setter/defensive specialist
Ali Meyer (Cedar Park, Texas) led the Cowgirls with 41 digs on the week and led Hardin-Simmons with 74 assists as well. She also had three service aces.
Howard Payne Junior outside hitter Brylee Awbrey (Midland, Texas) led HPU with 44 digs through three games this past week including 25 in a win versus Concordia (TX). Awbrey also recorded 13 kills, two assists, four blocks, and two aces.
