DALLAS – Mary Hardin-Baylor accumulated the top vote and is predicted to repeat for the 2023 American Southwest Conference Men’s Soccer title after a vote by league head coaches and sports information directors, announced Wednesday.

Hardin-Simmons senior forward/midfielder Jakob Fiol was named 2023 ASC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. Fiol was an All-ASC First Team selection and ranked atop the conference in total goals with 11 and points with 25.

LeTourneau senior goalkeeper Raul Torrez was selected 2023 ASC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. He earned 2022 ASC Defensive Player of the Year after leading the league with fewest goals allowed with 19 and second in goals against average with a 1.38-clip.
