OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Kyle Seymour, F, Sr., Ozarks
Ozarks senior forward Kyle Seymour (New Lenox, Ill.) had an explosive offensive game creating shots and
opportunities for his teammates in an 8-0 win over Centenary College to open the season. Seymour scored once and assisted on three other goals for the Eagles. He recorded two shots on goal.
 
CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Griffin Cardwell, GK, So., McMurry
McMurry sophomore goalkeeper Griffin Cardwell (Plano, Texas) registered a shutout and was less than 10 minutes from a second one during McMurry's season-opening road trip. It was his third career clean sheet during win over Millsaps. Cardwell racked up seven saves in 180 minutes (87.5 saves percentage) and shutout highlighted program’s first season-opening win since 2017.
 
CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Keven Daniel, D, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore defender Keven Daniel (Leander, Texas) scored the game-winner against Hendrix on Sunday and helped limit opponents to just 15 shots over two games. Daniel and the Cru limited Rhodes to just one goal with nine total shots and gave up just six shots to Hendrix. He was on the pitch 173 minutes combined over the pair of matches hosted in Conway, Arkansas.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Offensive
East Texas Baptist senior midfielder Garrett Garvin (Ovilla, Texas) scored ETBU’s first goal of the year in a 2-1 loss to Austin College. He netted the goal in the 85th minute to pull ETBU within one.
 
LeTourneau sophomore forward Axel Pangni (Abidjan, Ivory Coast) had one goal and two assists on the week as LeTourneau went 1-1.
 
Howard Payne freshman midfielder Emmanuel Nshimlyimana (Fort Worth, Texas) scored one goal versus Dallas Christian and had three total shot attempts in the match.
 
McMurry sophomore midfielder Danny Chavez (Fort Worth, Texas) posted his first career game-winning goal to help send McMurry past Millsaps. It was his second collegiate goal. He played 67 minutes, coming off the bench and had both his shots land on goal over the trip.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor junior forward Ethan Dacaret (Austin, Texas) scored a goal in the victory at Hendrix. He had five shots with four on frame in two starts.
Defensive
Ozarks freshman defender Schnyder Charles (Laurelton, N.Y.) guided the Eagles to a season-opening shutout win against Centenary. Charles' outstanding defensive play limited the Gents to two shots on goal. In addition to patrolling the back, he also assisted on one goal.
 
Sul Ross State sophomore goalkeeper Julio Fernandez (El Paso, Texas) made 10 saves in 90 minutes in goal in a 2-0 setback against University of the Southwest. Eight saves came in the second half to keep the Lobos within reach of the contest.
