MEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Frank Douglas, So., UT Dallas
UT Dallas sophomore Frank Douglas (Rockwall, Texas) was the Comets' top finisher for the third time this season, placing seventh in the Prairie Fire division of the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. He ran the 8K course in 26:53.8, helping UT Dallas win the race for the second consecutive season.
 
WOMEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Danna Requena, So., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist sophomore Danna Requena (Kilgore, Texas) ran a time of 24:42.0 to lead the Tigers at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree (6K).
 

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
 
LeTourneau senior Walker Reeves (Cushing, Texas) paced the YellowJackets at the Division I-laden OSU Cowboy Jamboree with his 8k time of 26:52.4. His finish helped the YellowJackets to 16th overall.

UT Dallas freshman Bharvi Varu (Austin, Texas) was the top finisher for UT Dallas in the Harter's Habanero race at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. Saturday. She placed 154th of 249 in a field made up of elite NCAA Division I athletes. Varu completed the 5K in 19:35.6, shaving almost 1:12 off her previous personal best.
 
LeTourneau freshman Payton Satzke (Byron, Minn.) led the way for the YellowJackets for the first time this season as she finished the 6k at 25:34.7 at the Division I-heavy OSU Cowboy Jamboree. Her placement helped LeTourneau to 15th overall.
