MEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Elijah Holmes, So., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons sophomore Elijah Holmes (Waxahachie, Texas) ran his personal best 8k time of 27:26 at the Our Lady of the Lake West Side Classic on Saturday. He ran a full minute faster than his previous PR of 28:32 to lead the Cowboy team.
 
WOMEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Kylah Holland, Sr., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons senior Kylah Holland (Clyde, Texas) set a Cowgirl cross country record with a time of 21:20 at the 6k Our Lady of the Lake West Side Classic. She beat her old record by 38 seconds and is currently ranked No. 7 in the region and inside the Top-25 in Division III in the 6k. Holland placed third in the race at Our Lady of the Lake.
