DALLAS, Texas – Hardin-Simmons represent the American Southwest Conference as they put two men’s soccer players on United Soccer Coaches All-Region X Teams.

Hardin-Simmons graduate student defender Maxwell Winneker was named Second Team All-Region X. Winneker helped Hardin-Simmons post a 6-2 conference record and earn the programs first American Southwest Conference title in 10 years. He was part of a defense that recorded six overall shutouts and four conference shutout wins. The Cowboys defense only allowed 1.25 goals against per game. Winneker started in 18 games as he led the backline averaging 84.8 minutes per game. He has also recorded six goals for the Cowboys with one assist. 

Hardin-Simmons graduate student forward Jakob Fiol also earned Second Team All-Region honors. Fiol led the Cowboys with eight goals including two game-winners and a penalty kick goal. He added four assists on the season while shooting 26 of 55 shots on frame. Fiol started in 18 games while contributing 1,296 minutes on the field.
