DALLAS, Texas – The Hardin-Simmons University women’s basketball team represents the American Southwest Conference on the D3hoops.com Women’s Basketball Top 25 Poll and the WBCA DIII Coaches Poll.

The Cowgirls moved up to No. 13 in the WBCA Coaches Poll with 129 points and the D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll with 272 points. Hardin-Simmons used a pair of recent wins to move to 13-1 on the season. The Cowgirls defeated St. Mary’s (MN) 83-53 on Saturday, December 28^th before rolling past Rhodes with an 89-38 win on Saturday, January 4^th.

Hardin-Simmons returns to action on Tuesday, January 7^th with a contest against Trinity (Texas) in San Antonio.
