OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Peyton Hoyt, MF/D, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor senior midfielder/defender
Peyton Hoyt (Fort Collins, Colorado) scored game-winner in both of the Cru's wins this week. He scored UMHB's second goal against Belhaven, netting the game-winner in the 53rd minute. Hoyt followed that with a 68th minute goal against ETBU, putting the Cru up by one.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Adrian Villa, GK, Fr., Howard Payne
Howard Payne freshman goalkeeper
Adrian Villa (Roswell, New Mexico) played all 90 minutes in the lone contest for the week against Hardin-Simmons. He faced 43 shots and tallied 14 saves and with no goals allowed for the 2-0 shutout, giving the Yellow Jackets their first win of the season and first conference win.

Offensive
East Texas Baptist junior forward
Dylan Garcia (Clovis, Calif.) helped ETBU's offense in two ASC matches, scoring one goal and taking six shots. He had the go-ahead goal vs. HSU in the 77th minute before HSU tied the match in the 80th minute. He came off the bench vs. HSU and took three shots with one on goal.
Howard Payne senior midfielder
Ethan Mauldin (Weatherford, Texas) played all 90 minutes and was a spark plug in the attacking play against HSU. His game winner clinched the first win for HPU this season.
Defensive
Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore defender
Yannis Benae (Frisco, Texas) helped the Cru to a 2-0 week, playing two full 90-minute contests on the Cru back line. He opened with 90 minutes against Belhaven where the Cru allowed just five shots on frame to the Blazers. Benae followed with another full contest against ETBU, giving up seven shots but just two on frame. The Cru ended the week with only seven shots on frame and one goal allowed. Benae also tallied one assist against the Tigers.
