New Braunfels, Texas - The ASC had six volleyball student-athletes named to the 2025 AVCA Region 10 All-Region Team.  East Texas Baptist Head Coach Mallory Matthews was named Region 10 Coach of the Year, while the Lady Tigers freshman Lara Hornsby was named the regions Freshman of the Year. 

The First-Team All-Region members are Abigail Allen (Hardin-Simmons), Anita Hancock (East Texas Baptist), Lara Hornsby (East Texas Baptist), Lexi Moody (East Texas Baptist), and Graycee Mosley (East Texas Baptist).  Callie Humphrey from East Texas Baptist was named Honorable Mention All-Region.  

Matthews led ETBU to the #1 ranking in the nation and the only undefeated team during the regular season, finishing at 31-0.  Matthews Lady Tigers won the 2025 Regular Season ASC Championship and capped that off with their third straight ASC Conference Tournament Championship.  

In her first year with the Tigers, Hornsby (Fr., Decatur, Texas) is second on the team in kills with 295, recording 104 digs and 24 blocks, and scoring 330 points. The ASC co-Freshman of the Year was on the All-ASC second team.
