AMERICAN SOUTHWEST CONFERENCE MEN’S SOCCER PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Grayson Bowler, MF, Fr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor's Grays Bowler scored both of the Cru's goals against Hardin-Simmons, netting scores in the 67th and 75th minutes. He totaled seven shots on the week and all six against the Cowboys were shots on frame.  Bowler helped the Crusaders secure a tie against Hardin-Smmons, 2-2.  

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ryan Lord, GK, So., East Texas Baptist 
East Texas Baptist Goal Keeper Ryan Lord earned the win with two saves vs. HPU that secured ETBU the #3 seed in the ASC Tournament. After giving up a goal in the 7th minute, he shut out HPU stopping two more shots in the 34th and 90th minute. The shot in the 34th minute would have giving HPU the lead but his save kept the score tied at one before ETBU scored in the 44th minute to take the lead for good. 
 
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Offensive 
Aiden Fortenberry for East Texas Baptist gave the Tigers the 2-1 lead just before the half, hitting the go-ahead goal in the 44th minute. This was his second goal in three matches and fourth on the year.  His goal helped ETBU to the 4-1 win securing the #3 seed in the ASC Tournament.

Hardin-Simmons Colin Elliott got the ball rolling for the Cowboys with the first goal of his career against top-seed Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday night in Abilene. Elliott gave the Cowboys the lead five minutes into the match against UMHB in a game that ended in a 2-2 draw against the Crusaders who came into the game with a record of 5-0 in the ASC.
