DALLAS, Texas – Hardin-Simmons freshman guard Jacqueline Berry was named D3hoops.com Rookie of the Year.

Hardin-Simmons freshman Jacqueline Berry led the ASC in total points (376) and points-per-game (13.9) while shooting 45 percent from field goal range. She ranked second in rebounding with 190 total boards, averaging seven per game. Berry also led the league in steals with 63 total. She was also named ASC Freshman of the Year, All-ASC First Team, Region 10 Rookie of the Year honors and was a Second Team All-Region 10 selection.
