WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia – The Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s golf team finished the NCAA DIII Women’s Golf Championship Tournament tied for 16
th place after not making the cut after the second round. UMHB senior Avery Hill selected to continue the Tournament as an individual.
After several rain delays and postpones, UMHB held 10
th place following the first round with a 310 (+22). The Cru carded a 314 (+26) in the second round for a total score of 624 (+48). The cut was made after the second round of action. UMHB was just four strokes out from the final team to make the cut.

Avery Hill stood tied for ninth place individually and ranked high enough in the standings to earn the right to continue as an individual for the final two rounds. Hill shot an excellent 73-74=147 (+3) in the first two rounds. She has collected four birdies and ranks fourth in the tournament with 27 total pars.
Hill begins the Third Round of the Championship at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 15
th.
