GRANBURY, Texas –
Mary Hardin-Baylor claims the American Southwest Conference Men’s Golf Championship title on Sunday at The Nutcracker Golf Club.
Cole MacMillan of Mary Hardin-Baylor was named Medalist.
UMHB earns its 10
th ASC title after carding a final round 294 (+6). The Cru scored an overall 288-300-294=882 (+18) across the three-day tournament, maintaining first place after each round.
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman Cole MacMillan earned the Medalist title by one stroke with an overall 214 (-2). MacMillan opened the tournament with a first-round 70 (-2) before shooting a 74 (+2) on the second. He secured the victory after carding a 70 (-2) in the final round. MacMillan totaled 10 birdies and 37 pars while leading the tournament in Par 4 shooting with a 4.07 average.
LeTourneau placed second with an overall 884 (+20). Hardin-Simmons placed third carding a 901 (+37). East Texas Baptist finished fourth with a 908 (+44) followed by Howard Payne with a 928 (+64).
The 2025 All-Tournament Team consists of the top six placed finishers. Following MacMillan, LETU’s Owen Prewitt finished in second place with a 215 (-1). Hardin-Simmons’ Andrew Bin and ETBU’s Drew Marshall tied for third, carding a 221 (+5). UMHB’s Evan Acevedo placed fifth with an overall 222 (+6). UMHB’s William Mullin and LETU’s Kaiden Schneider tied for sixth place with a total 224 (+8).
