AUSTIN, Texas – East Texas Baptist softball student-athlete Mary Frances Ellis was selected on the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-America First Team, released Tuesday.

Mary Frances Ellis, a senior outfielder, graduated with a degree in accounting and finance with a 4.00 GPA. Ellis batted .341 this season with 31 hits and 34 runs scored. She batted in ten more and stole 22 bases. Ellis helped the Tigers to a ASC Softball Championship Title and make it to the NCAA Championship Tournament Super Regionals in the 2025 campaign.

This is the third CSC Academic All-America honor for Ellis. She is the first ETBU student-athlete to be a three-time CSC Academic All-American.
