AVCA Release

DALLAS, Texas – The East Texas Baptist, Hardin-Simmons and Mary Hardin-Baylor Volleyball Programs received the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award. The Tigers and Cowgirls were also on the AVCA Team Academic Award Honor Roll, representing the top 20% of team GPAs in Division III.

Teams must have a year-long grade point average above 3.3 on a 4.0 scale to earn the academic award. A record-breaking 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams received the award this year.
