OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Evan Ruiz, MF, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore midfielder Evan Ruiz (Allen, Texas) helped the Cru to two wins last week, scoring goals in both games. He netted the game-winner against Rhodes, scoring the Cru's third goal in the 65th minute for a 3-2 victory. Ruiz followed that with a goal in the 59th minute against Howard Payne, helping the Cru to a 6-0 win. Ruiz finished with two shots, both on frame and both goals.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Yannis Benae, D, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore defender Yannis Benae (Frisco, Texas) helped the Cru to a 2-0 week, playing 144 minutes in the Crusader defense. Benae and the Cru outscored opponents 9-2 on the week. He also scored the go-ahead goal against Rhodes and helped the Cru limit HPU to just two total shots and only one on frame.
