New Braunfels, Texas – The American Southwest Conference has announced the 2026 Women’s Soccer All-Conference awards ahead of the championship, after a vote by head coaches and sports information directors.

Tatum Barnett earns Offensive Player of the Year honors and Rusty Oglesby earns Coach of the Year honors after leading Hardin-Simmons to the ASC regular season championship and the number one overall seed heading into the conference tournament. Barnett ranks among the conference leaders in several offensive categories, including first in assists (9) and points (27). This season, she has scored nine goals, three of which were game-winners, helping the Cowgirls to a 9-0-1 conference finish and a 12-2-2 overall record.

McMurry’s Halin Griffith is the Defensive Player of the Year, logging over 1,300 minutes on the season. The sophomore started all 16 games for the War Hawks and has proven to be a steady force on their defensive backline.

Mary Hardin-Baylor earned a duo of awards, with Aubrey Tipton named Goalkeeper of the Year and Sydney Gaynor named Freshman of the Year. Tipton has spent over 1,400 minutes in goal for the Cru, finishing the regular season with 58 saves and a .817 save percentage.
