OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Ava Ribakovs, S/RS, Fr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Ava Ribakovs and Mary Hardin-Baylor finished the week 3-2, tallying 47 kills while adding 88 total assists and 10 service aces. Ribakovs recorded 63.5 total points on the week, contributing across multiple areas of the court and helping lead her team’s offensive attack.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Angie Garcia, L, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Sophomore libero Angie Garcia totaled 80 digs across five Mary Hardin-Baylor matches, highlighted by a 27-dig performance at Rhodes and a 25-dig effort at LeTourneau. Garcia averaged 4.7 digs per set over the week.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Offensive
Avery Tumlinson led the Cowgirls with 33 kills across four matches at the Southwestern Tournament, averaging 2.54 kills per set while hitting .500. She helped Hardin-Simmons go 2-2 on the week and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Defensive
East Texas Baptist libero Sadie Kasowski averaged 6.18 digs per set and recorded 13 assists as the Tigers faced No. 16 WashU, No. 17 Emory and No. 18 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Kasowski helped ETBU earn a win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
