OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Addy Delgado, OH, Fr., Hardin-Simmons
Addy Delgado led Hardin-Simmons in scoring with 48 kills across four matches over the weekend. The freshman outside hitter averaged 3.43 kills per set, recording 15, 11, 14 and eight kills, respectively, in each match. She also contributed eight service aces and 37 digs.
Delgado helped the Cowgirls finish the weekend 2-2, earning wins over the University of Dallas (3-0) and Concordia (3-1), while falling to Paul Quinn in five sets and Austin in four sets.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Brylee Pursley, L, Sr., Hardin-Simmons
Senior Brylee Pursley finished the four-match weekend for Hardin-Simmons with 59 total digs, averaging 3.69 digs per set. Her 25-dig performance against Austin College marked her weekend high, while she recorded six digs against Dallas, 13 against Concordia, and 15 against Paul Quinn.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Offensive
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman Ava Ribakovs tallied 49 kills and 88 assists during a 5-1 opening weekend for the Cru. She also recorded 82 digs, including a single-match high of 21 against Texas Lutheran. Ribakovs finished the weekend with 61 total points for the Cru.
Defensive
Kendall Kreusler totaled 11 blocks across three matches at the Tiger Classic, hosted by Trinity University, helping East Texas Baptist finish the weekend 2-1. Kreusler also recorded eight kills over the three-match weekend.
