New Braunfels, Texas – Mary Hardin-Baylor wide receiver BJ Stewart was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, released Tuesday. 

Mary Hardin-Baylor traveled to Glassboro, New Jersey, to take on Rowan University, where Stewart totaled 176 receiving yards on six receptions in the Cru’s 35-14 victory. Stewart recorded an 84-yard touchdown reception and added 98 yards on kickoff returns.

Stewart was named the 2026 ASC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. The Cru will return to action Saturday, September 12, at 2:00 p.m. (CT) at Pacific Lutheran University in Washington.
