Jeremiah Calderon finished first among collegiate runners at the Stormy Seas Opener in Georgetown, crossing the finish line in 16:00.0. He finished second overall at the meet, helping the Cru to a third-place team finish with 84 points and a combined time of 1:28.04.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Ruthie Valdez, So., Hardin-Simmons
Ruthie Valdez competed in the ACU Naimadu 4K on Friday, finishing first among all Division III runners with a time of 18:22. Valdez placed 16th overall in a field that included Division I and Division II programs.
