Richardson, Texas - After advancing to the ASC Tournament championship game for the second straight season, the University of the Ozarks places two players on the 2001 ASC Men's Soccer All-Conference team. Making the squad from UO are senior defender Armando Vergara and senior forward Marcos Gonzalez, who was also voted the East Division's Co-Offensive Player of the Year along with Mississippi College senior Mitch Peters.
The University of Texas at Dallas and Texas Lutheran University, which finished as West Division Co-Champions, placed three players apiece on the All-Conference team.
The All-Conference and All-Division teams are selected by a vote of the league's head coaches.
