HITTER OF THE WEEK – Carson Livesay, Sr., OF, East Texas Baptist
Carson Livesay hit .438, leading East Texas Baptist to a 4-0 week over Mary Hardin-Baylor. In a close Game 1 victory for the Tigers, Livesay hit two home runs and drove in three RBI for a 6-5 win. He continued his offensive success in Games 2, 3, and 4, totaling seven runs, seven hits, seven RBI, and three home runs on the week.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Isaac Thornton, Sr., P, East Texas Baptist
Isaac Thornton had a career week for the Tigers, tying his career high with 12 strikeouts. He earned the Game 3 win in a 12-4 victory, pitching 8.0 innings and facing 28 batters. Thornton allowed only three earned runs and retired the side in the first, third, seventh, and eighth innings. He held opposing batters to a .185 average, facing 27 total batters.

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES

HITTERS
Paul Samaripa of Hardin-Simmons went 7-for-18 over five games for the Cowboys, totaling eight runs, seven hits, and four RBI. In Game 1 against Howard Payne, Samaripa recorded a home run and a stolen base.

PITCHERS
Garrett Keller turned in a strong week for the Cowboys, pitching in three wins. Notably, on Sunday he pitched 5.0 innings in a 12-8 win over Howard Payne, recording five strikeouts and holding them to a .222 average.
