Seminole, Fla. / SHS) had a hat trick and fueled an unbeaten week in conference play. Chapman’s three goals came in a 10-1 road win over Ozarks in which she opened the scoring inside the first 5 minutes. It was the first conference hat trick since Oct. 6. Her play also helped the Lady Choctaws close out the regular season on a six-match unbeaten streak.

Bria Howard (
Harker Heights, Texas / HHS) recorded a hat trick to propel a 3-2 conference road win over LeTourneau. Howard’s three goals also helped the Mountaineers to their first back-to-back victories of the season. She had the final of nine hat tricks in the conference this season.

Amanda Weaver (
Arlington, Texas / Lamar HS) spearheaded a unit that recorded two shoutouts in conference wins over Texas Lutheran and Schreiner. Weaver also added a goal against Schreiner, her first score of the season. Weaver and company allowed only six shots over the two matches and helped the Patriots close out the regular season with an 11-1 league record.

EAST TEXAS BAPTIST: ETBU has now made the ASC Tournament three of the last four seasons...Kia Jelly leads the team with 7 goals, 4 assists, and 18 points...ETBU's GAA is 1.58.
CONCORDIA TEXAS: Concordia finished the regular season tied for fourth in the conference standings with Texas-Dallas and will be seeded fifth in the ASC Tournament ... The Tornados will be making their third postseason appearance after wrapping up the regular season with a 2-1 double-overtime win over Howard Payne and a 4-0 loss to Hardin-Simmons ... Jordan James netted the golden goal in double overtime against the Yellow Jackets ... It was herr fourth game-winning tally this season and second in double overtime ... Concordia will play its fourth postseason match and third against Texas-Dallas on Thursday, Nov. 1 in the quarterfinal round of the ASC Tournament.
SCHREINER: The Mountaineers went 1-1 on the week with a road victory against LeTourneau (3-2), and a loss to UT-Tyler (0-8). Schreiner finishes the 2012 season 3-12-1, 3-9 ASC.
MARY HARDIN-BAYLOR: UMHB ended its season at 6-8-2 overall and 3-7-2 in ASC action after falling to Hardin-Simmons 4-0 on Friday and Howard Payne 2-0 on Saturday.
TEXAS-DALLAS: The Comets will be making their 11th straight appearance in the ASC Tournament Thursday as they open the event with against Concordia. UTD and CTX battled to a 0-0 tie in the regular season...UT Dallas has recorded its 13th 10-win season in 14 years after picking up a 3-0 home win over Louisiana College Thursday night.
LETOURNEAU: Senior Weekend for LeTourneau. Played in their final matches against Schreiner and Texas Lutheran
TEXAS LUTHERAN: TLU finished the 2012 season with an overall record of 7-9-1 and an American Southwest Conference record of 4-7-1...The Bulldogs' 2012 season was the first with new head coach Larry Schaffer...TLU moves to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference starting in 2013-14.
MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: The Lady Choctaws (13-3-2, 9-2-1 ASC) earned a number three seed in the ASC Tournament with wins over the Ozarks and a tie with UTD. Junior Caitlin Chapman's hat trick led to a 10-1 victory over the Ozarks with six other MC players finding the back of the net. MC was able to withstand an offensive charge by UTD and played to a scoreless draw. The Lady Choctaws will play East Texas Baptist in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
HOWARD PAYNE: The Lady Jackets needing two wins to make the ASC playoffs went 1-1 on the weekend. HPU fell 2-1 in double overtime to Concordia Texas and then won 2-0 over Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday. Senior forard Leslie Jones accounted for all three Lady Jacket goals on the weekend.
HARDIN-SIMMONS: The Cowgirls completed another unbeaten season and will host the ASC Tournament for the 10th straight year. The Cowgirls are looking for their 14th ASC title. Hardin-Simmons outscored its ASC opponents 63-3 on the year.
TEXAS-TYLER: UT Tyler secured a second-place regular-season finish in the ASC, defeating Texas Lutheran 4-0 and Schreiner 8-0 this past weekend. The Patriots finished conference-play with an 11-1 record, with the only loss coming to Hardin Simmons in overtime.
