Monzingo (Cedar Hill, Texas/Cedar Hill HS) was named the ASC Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league in goals (14) and points (32). Monzingo also recorded top league marks in goals per game (0.93) averaging nearly one goal per contest.

Haltiwanger (Boerne, Texas/Champions HS) is the fifth consecutive Cowgirl named the ASC Defensive Player of the Year. Starting every game for HSU this season, Haltiwanger anchored the best defensive unit in the league. HSU allowed a league-best four goals and recorded 13 shutouts out of 14 regular season games. Haltiwanger also had six goals on the year, four of which were game-winning goals that ranked second in the league.

Mary Hardin-Baylor forward Cameron Shivers (Edmond, Okla./Crossings Christian HS) is the second consecutive Cru soccer player selected as the ASC Offensive Freshman of the Year following Kathryn Parker (2013). Shivers ranked tied for 10th in the ASC in goals with seven, three of which were game-winning goals and also recorded 15 points and had 24 shots-on-goal.

In his first season in a head coaching position, Bishop more than doubled HPU’s win total from last season from 4 to 10 wins and returned the team to the ASC Championship Tournament. Webb led the Patriots to their first undefeated season in conference play (7-0-2) and is the first ASC team to defeat Hardin-Simmons in the regular season since 2000, snapping a 171-match unbeaten streak.
