GRANBURY, Texas – Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman
Andrew Baucum was named the 2022 American Southwest Conference Golfer of the Year to highlight the All-Conference teams and individual awards. The honors were presented after the 2022 Men's Golf Championship at Nutcracker Golf Club in Granbury, Texas.
Baucum, the medalist at the ASC Championship with a -1, was also the Freshman of the Year, led the league with a 71.52 stroke average. He also recorded five wins on the year.
Championship runner-up
Ben Constancio from Concordia Texas was the Newcomer of the Year. He also shot a -1 at the tournament, but fell to Baucum in the first hole of a playoff.

Jonathon Hester and Howard Payne’s
Brady Nelson were named the Co-Sportsmanship Athletes of the Year.
Jordan Cox earned Coach of the Year honors for the second time after guiding the Cru to their ninth team title.
