2022 ASC Men’s Cross Country Schedule
RICHARDSON, Texas –
UT Dallas was selected to win the American Southwest Conference 2022 Men’s Cross Country championship in a vote of the league’s head coaches. The Comets paced the group with 77 points and six first place votes and come into the new season winning three of the past four conference titles.
LeTourneau, the 2021 conference champion
, followed in second with 70 points and two first place votes. Just behind the YellowJackets were
McMurry with 63 points and
Hardin-Simmons with 55 points and one first place vote.
Rounding out the preseason poll were

, East Texas Baptist (36)
, Ozarks (27)
, Mary Hardin-Baylor (24)
, and Sul Ross State (9).
Fifteen runners were named by the head coaches as runners to watch in the 2022 season. Included in the list are three who earned All-Conference honors, highlighted by the 2021 Newcomer of the Year

Regular season races begin on September 1. The ASC Cross Country Championship is scheduled for October 29, hosted by East Texas Baptist in Marshall, Texas.
